I think a different crop would have worked here... to go along with the rule of thirds... I'm not sure you needed quite so much sky... and would suggest cropping fairly close to the top of the trees. I like the shadow, is there some sort of a color cast here? that may be intentional... and if it is... I like it, gives it a different look.

I LOVE TREES! And I love this; my only "nitpick: Would love to have seen a bit closer crop on the trees, those shadows are great and I would like to have seen them "featured" a bit more.
