wishful thinkingby kiwinickComment by suemack: Interesting and funny take on the challenge. Nice perspective on the photo.
I've found you get a better light on animals early in the am or later in the afternoon.....less reflection off their coats and would have worked on the bone too. Watch the background of the shot........turn round, move the camera up and down..... just so you don't get something like the line of grass, trees, fence just above the back. A solid grassy background would have really focussed the eye on the subject.
Just as you go to take the pic.....say their name. If you're really lucky they look up and you get the eyes in the pic. The great joy and challenge of animal pics is their wonderful unpredictability.

wishful thinkingby kiwinickComment by coolhar: cute pup, idea fits the challenge weel, but it looks over-exposed to me; holding the camera up from the ground some would have easily eliminated the unnecessart distraction of fence and plants, and given you a better background of just lawn putting more emphasis on your subject |

wishful thinkingby kiwinickComment by mhoogendyk: Cute photograph of a pet. I have trouble translating it to "hope" though, even with the title. Really, no hoping about it - the dog already HAS the bone. |

wishful thinkingby kiwinickComment by redpanda: Nice perspective, I don't know how it comes to hope (this puppy at this moment got even more than he/she could wish for). GC |
