LOL - I typed "greens are tough" then saw your other comment. But greens ARE tough - to me they can be cool or they can be warm, depending on the amount of yellow or blue in them. That's from a quilter's perspective, though. I think most probably accepted this as "cool" because it's green and green has been declared "cool" - but it has both warm and cool tones to it, and that may have swayed a few voters. What kind of plants are these? They almost look like two little faces laughing and having a conversation.

Greens are tough. There is a lot of yellow tints behind these greens which makes them warm, imo. However, there is enough other cool colors here that it does work.

The bright sunlight is washing out much of the texture and casting unpleasing shadows on the columns. The same shot taken at dawn or dusk would have improved a lot. With the dimmer and angled light, textured surface really pop out of a photo.
