Self Portait in the Garden??by SteveJComment by moodville: The overexposed sky is quite distracting as the eyes tends to go to the brightest part of the image first. The other window/door on the left also makes the background a little busy. Just keeping it with the garden would have been better and less busy/distracting. |

Pebblesby SteveJComment by cghubbell: A bit more range between the highlights and shadows than I'd like to see in this subject. Seems like some highlights were blown, and detai lost in the shadows. |

Smeagol - Gollum, Hero - Anti Heroby SteveJComment by Artyste: Lacking focus, and the lighting is a little flat. Composition is a little weak as well, as gollumn's feet are cut off on the right. An interesting idea, but execution needs some work. Also, as you're probably aware, DPC kind of has a hate-on for shots of toys :) |
