Autumn Reflectionsby SteveJComment by tpoc: pretty green reflections in the water. it's interesting how the goose's head just kind of disappears with the ripples! |

Its Time Has Passedby SteveJComment by DrAchoo: A good subject for grain, but I don't really like the superstark white behind which is unmarred. I go back and forth on this one. I'm giving it a 6 at the moment, but I may be back for a higher number. |

Autumn Reflectionsby SteveJComment by skate4ganja: But why centered. I DOES bug me when I come to think about the composition.
I agree that rule of thirds should be just a guideline, not a rule, but I belive it would
fit in here perfectly. But color is very powerfull and a subject very nice and pleasing
to look at. |

Autumn Reflectionsby SteveJComment by tcmartin: Nice. The white on the bird is too hot and detail has been lost though. I took one of these types of shots and submitted it somewhere. Many folks loved it, but the guys that totally slammed me were right and they ended up being very helpful. Maybe next time try to adjust the exposure compensation down and make sure you get the wihite areas without clipping. You probably couldn't have fxed it with levels adjustment. Great idea as I love the distortion as the reflection moves away from the body. |
