Twilight Moonby SteveJComment by Temperpolk: What kind of telescope do you have? I don't have to tell you, if a mere digital camera can make me tremble, this photograph can make me believe in "god". Seriously, amazing shot of our satellite and on top of that the colour contrast seals it. |

The Ways Of The Ancestorsby SteveJComment by Melethia: DPC'ers generally don't like statues, but this is an exceptionally well captured one, in my opinion. You run the risk of the "but it's just someone else's art" issue, but I think in this case the angle you chose and the lighting really do give this a sense of life and a sort of power. |

Damsels In Distress??by SteveJComment by Rooster: Interesting make up here of the shot. I really like the shadow of the top dragonfly. Good conrol of dof and nice contrasting colours. |

Twilight Moonby SteveJComment by karmat: simple, but nice. it is a bit grainy, and i think if the moon was higher in the frame or lower, the composition would be a bit more compelling as it would use the negative space more effectively |

Twilight Moonby SteveJComment by Dirt_Diver: I think this is a great image but with the contrast so low it pulls the eye to look everywhere else besides the moon. Contrast would blacken the BG and darken the moon, I would have really loved to play with this image and make the moon red or a bluish color. Anyway Good shot 7 |
