Foggy Sunriseby whatdewucComment by saintaugust: not a bad shot. 2 things: seems way oversharpened, from the edges of the tree bits. there is also too much separation in colour caused by this. and.. it doesn't really scream 'landscape'... it's mostly water and sky. 5

Foggy Sunriseby whatdewucComment by Azrifel: The huge compression (to 40kb) really hurts this photo. This is imho top 20 stuff but the jpeg noise ruins it all. :(
Sweet colors. Straighten the horizon and save as close to 150kb as possible and you are near top 10. |

Foggy Sunriseby whatdewucComment by kearock: I like the color and composition very much, but there's something unsettling about the rather jagged edges on the stumps. I'm not sure if this is a resolution thing or oversharpening or what, but it hurts what could be an excellent photo. |
