old watermillby visaksenComment by Arcanist: This is a great example of low tech and well exposed. unsure if the angle is intended or if this is simply a need to use the rotation tool. I feel like I'm sliding off the side of the composition which hurts the impact of this otherwise very good photo. |

old watermillby visaksenComment by bledford: A classic scene that definitely fits the challenge in our current era of technology (certainly wouldn't have been low tech 200 years ago). The movement of the wheel and water is awkward. I think you should have either bumped up the shutter speed and captured everything perfectly still or gone longer and had more motion than you have. Also, rather than have nothing in the foreground, I would have like to have seen some mossy rocks or something that lets me into the scene before, Bam, I'm presented with the watermill wheel. The sky and trees in the background add little to the scene. Crop them out and you have a much nicer shot. Hope that was helpful... :) |

old watermillby visaksenComment by graphicfunk: Certainly fits the challenge. This image can be highly improved by eliminating the top part of the image. I see two advantageous choices. One crop right below the rails and tight right above the wooden duct passage and better right down the top of the stone wall. This brings the subject dead smack into the eyes. 6 |

old watermillby visaksenComment by Bud: Nice photo, this could have benefitted from framing it a bit better, shooting it tighter on the water wheel. |
