Snowby arngrimurComment by arngrimur: Originally posted by gaurawa: somehow the image doesn't look natural, has lost the 3D effect. Seems like you select-copy-pasted the tree and snow on the background. |
No copy paste here. I shot this beacause of the strong contrasts. Here is a broader scene shot at the same time. |

Autumn Raysby arngrimurComment by Kavey: Very intriguing difference between the deep, rich red of the background and the intense light on the bark of the tree. The camera motion really adds something to the image by focusing attention on the lines and shapes of the branches. |

Tram #8826by arngrimurComment by Kavey: Whilst I can see clearly that this is an image of a vehicle of some kind the up-close approach and the fluidity make it hard to see exactly what transport it is - and I like that aspect very much. It could, to me, be a boat, a train, a bus, a helicopter. Instead of worrying about that unimportant detail I focus instead on the motion, the colours, the light and the broader idea of transportation. |

Run, rabbit runby arngrimurComment by Kavey: This is wonderful! Even with all the fluid motion there is still sufficient detail in ears, eye, tail and body shape to really see what one is looking at and yet... such an impression of the fleeting nature of the moment. Just lovely! |

Airby arngrimurComment by Kavey: What a lovely study of fluidity and motion. I like the white on white aspect very much. |
