one of very few instances on DPC where a border of a colour (other than black, white og gray) adds to the photo. trust me, I've been burned to crisp with border comments on my own photos.
nice study on fall and the full size version must be very interesting.

Wow what a capture! I remember seeing this image, personally I would have thought it would have been top 20, but 28 isn't too bad either. The action and timing are prefect. I like the fact the subject is not centered is prefect for me, I really hate when people center. The waves look prefect not overwhelming and not boring. I really cannot see anything I would change or attempt to improve. I see a little blotchyness in the left upper side but it is hardly noticeable. You did an excellent job.

Love the colors of the golden fields and the autumn colors adorning the trees. But there is something that lies nearly in the center of this image that makes it stand out as being a little unusual and unique. The green of the cactus as it lies low in the golden hued field. The cactus adds interest as that it is something one rarely sees or gets the impression of when visuallizing an autumn scene.
