From the Critique Club

I think either a closer zoom or closer crop would have worked better. Being darker colored birds on pretty dark water they tend to be hidden.

The left tree leaves are a bit distracting. The coloring seems find for what colors are present but the lack of any detail overall hurts the image.

The framing to be is a bit off as well. The leaves on open side then the birds then the boulder. It does draw the viewers eye right across all of that in a diagonal line. But the birds get overlooked.

it's hard to focus on one thing here .... i like the idea - but i think one image at least should have the most focus

Im sure this is the twisted barrel method... im still amazed nearly every time I see it.
The only thing I would change is the sign in the upper right (not having it there). Good job!

I very much like your idea for meeting the challenge, but, the result hits me as too cluttered and hard to make out. Points for trying, though!

it seems a little overexposed ...so if that were to be corrected ...another 3 votes added on...well thought out though

I like the idea of this photo...but the Champion Edition sticker and the video game in the background just takes everything away from it.

Black swans - beautiful birds. Unfortunately there is so much else in your image I can't see them very well. A closer crop would have really make this image work for me. As it is, all I see are two orange dots and a big gray thing. With some work, this could be an impressive image. Good luck int he challenge!

Good clarity on this shot! I wish that there was a tighter crop on the birds so that we could see more detail. Colors look good, lighting looks good.

great shot, nice composition, I like how the image is framed with the leafs in upper left corner and the rock in lower right corner. the only thing that looks wrong is that grass green color of the water, looks like toxic waste.
