Way to the stationby alexgarciaComment by UNTITLED: Very interesting subject matter and great tonal values. Tracks create great leading lines to viewers. But the primary tracks in this photo lead the eye right out of the photo, instead of into it. Composing slightly different would of unified the track more with all those great poles and wires. Hope I offered up something at least semi helpful:)
I agree with Tuckersmom, it is slightly tilted. |

Way to the stationby alexgarciaComment by cfischl: Very nice. I recommend sharpening the photo a little bit and rotating the picture slightly so that the poles are completely vertical. |

Flyingby alexgarciaComment by cfischl: great capture, black and white is a good choice. i would like it more if there was more space in front of the bird |

Way to the stationby alexgarciaComment by sea2c: Wonderful aged feel to this. Maybe a little grain to complete that thought?
Good leading lines from the train to the tracks and wires overhead. I don't know what it is with me and skies, but a bit more contrast would be nice. Who knows, maybe that's as much as it'll take?
Nice. |

Market domeby alexgarciaComment by sea2c: Nice mood. It's a bit dark and the palms in the front are distracting. As always, that's just my opinion.
Wonder how this might look against a blue sky in colour. |

Flyingby alexgarciaComment by sea2c: Definitely nice and clear.
What I might change: If they are there, bring the clouds back enough to get something to break up the white. To me, it would add some context to the seagull (shithawk).
Also, perhaps a tad too much sharpness as it look like the dark edges along the wings are a bit halo"y".
The contrast of the bird itself is good, though I might add a bit of brightness so it isn't quite so grey? |
