A very fresh and different image in this challenge, the subject caught in a very candid moment - one can imagine the stories being told and the effect on a inviduals life. A terrific image and very good spur of the moment capture.

An effective demonstration of how lighting can effect an image, but not particularly "creative" in an artistic sense. A nice crisp image which would do well in another challenge or setting, it falls just shy of being a total success with respect to the challenge subject.

A perfect idea with just a few minor flaws. The odd lighting angle slightly washed out the bottom images in comparison to the top - the author may have intended this, but it just quite doesn't make the image more interesting. The benefit of the doubt much be part of the deliberation and in this case, the benefit goes to the author. Well done.

nicely done, i like how you arranged the pencils. i might have cropped it to the middle of the white one because i don't see the need for 2 reds to be in there, but that's just my preference.
