I visited this building when I came to the USA to donate my kidney and I was surprised at how many scottish people fought for it. this s a beautiful bulding and I like your capture of it. Nice bright building to make it stand out and everything else in shadow. 10

This is excellent - like a glowing beacon of Texas' independence. The colors are rich and the dark gray of the sky is a perfect backdrop to the warm tones of the Alamo. I say 10!!!

The desaturation doesn't seem to add anything to the image.

What a bizarre, and yet beautiful, set of tones! I really like this; it's one of my favorites. The pose is very nice, and the background is interesting, but it's the colors that star in this image, for me at least. I love that the bit that pulls you in the most is the little girl - she's adorable!

i think you're going to get a polarized reaction to this image. i don't like it, it's too yellow for me and the family looks like they were superimposed on the background. speaking of the background, the colors on the rocks are overpowering. sorry, i just don't feel it. re: the family, beautiful capture of the child...in fact, i think you should have cropped out everything but the child and the parents' hands.
