This is so nice for so many reasons; first; the clarity of subject is excellent; all the compositional elements work superbly; teh church sits right where your eye wants it; the darker background could not add more dramatics; the trees create interest and scale, all in the unusual light.

What a moving, emotional shot! I loved this so much during voting - was sure it would take a ribbon, but you're close. Hope you get out of your comfort zone more often with these challenge entries, Sandy. You did a great job! The muted colors, the black clothes, and the perfect lighting are what strike me most about this image.
