Texas Proudby SandyPComment by RedDotCom: Love it! I visited the capital building last year on Cinco de Mayo. It's an awesome building! I'm from West Texas and this is beautiful! Great nigt exposure! Do you know why the flag was at half staff? |

Old Rugged Oakby SandyPComment by Amason: There's too much of uninteresting foreground in this image. When I hold my hand over most of the grass at the bottom this image becomes outstanding and like that I would have put it straight to my favourites. Try to crop away about 70-80% of the grass and see if you agree with me with the improving part... Maybe it would also be better to add some contrast in the grass (that will be left), maybe burn it a little or try to draw some detail out of it but still make it look normal. Adding a little vignette in the end could also make it stronger.
ofcourse I like it as it is too but it can be improved. You don't have to agree, this is just my opinion :-)

Softly Morningby SandyPComment by Amason: a shame it didn't end up higher, this was one of two that I liked the most in the challenge. Congrats on a great shot! |

Softly Morningby SandyPComment by Agaricus: I really, really like the softness to this Sandy. Fog has an amazing way of making something not very interesting and adding a totally different feel to it; same as your ability to capture something and add interest to it. You did very well my friend... |

My Lunch Roomby SandyPComment by Melethia: I think the borders suit your work well and you probably should add them to your challenge entries after the challenges just to truly show them off! |

Texas Music's Pride & Joyby SandyPComment by Melethia: Hey, I know that place! It's also a great place to start and end a bike ride. What kind of processing did you do? I really like the softness on the building, and that's a great angle to shoot this with the flowers in the foreground. Definitely one of my favorite places to visit and shoot. |

Softly Morningby SandyPComment by Melethia: What a lovely, serene picture, and definitely unusual for San Antonio! Very well seen and worth going to work late that morning. I really like the watercolor effect of the reflections. |
