If this could be done without the point lights, I think you would get just about what you were after. The hot trails of the lights seem distracting from the otherwise smooth flow of people and background.

Very nicely captured indeed... the wavy horizontal lines are beautiful, very pleasing to look at. The frenetic energy of the bird is really suggested by the blur.

It's cool that you can still make out the perfect point of his beak. I like the arc up and over, created by the flapping wings. Also that there is a touch of white in the upper left. See, you're gettin' this blur thing. ;~D
