Good Morning, Fine Spring Dayby SandyPComment by jasonlprice: Awesome capture Sandy! I hope this isn't the week we are supposed to be critical because it would be hard on this shot. I think the tilted composition really makes this pop...well that and the great b/w tones. I do prefer this one over the color, but strangly enough I like the color thumbnail better. I don't know what that means, just an obersvation! That 70-200 L is amazing! I gotta get me one.... |

A Song in the Airby SandyPComment by colorcarnival: When I saw this during the challenge, my first thought was it was Christmas on a warm day. The lights above the umbrellas caught my attention. I liked the triangles and the smaller lights above look like Christmas trees. I like how the people look like they've been stamped into the photo too. |

A Song in the Airby SandyPComment by tinky2: Sandy, it's so pretty! I love the bright colors and the notes over their heads. Yep, should have scored higher! |

Good Morning, Fine Spring Dayby SandyPComment by Stiger: I should just create a stamp for posting comments on all your images to save myself some typing every time one comes along. Something like: "Wow! What a gorgeous shot. Absolutely stunning, fantastic, beautiful." :)
I like the B&W version better, also. And let me thank you for using a deeper depth of field. So often, with macros of insects, people go so shallow that only a tiny sliver of the insect is in focus. This shot is perfect. Just enough to get the entire butterfly and the leaf in focus, while leaving a beautiful background. |

A Song in the Airby SandyPComment by Melethia: They didn't trash it, but I think it should have scored higher than it did! A lovely shot - I wondered if this might be yours and I recognized the Riverwalk. Gotta say it looks wonderful blurred! |
