Peek-a-Boo Outtakeby SandyPComment by Melethia: I think the B&W works quite well here - it really makes the details pop on the face and eye, whereas the color almost kinda makes those details blend with his surroundings better. So it's a toss-up depending on what you want to feature. Great shot, and probably would have won the red if you could have entered both shots! |

Good Morning, Fine Spring Dayby SandyPComment by Melethia: I don't think you need to be in any color to get a macro - this one works just fine. Excellent detail, dead-on focus, wonderful composition with all of the supporting elements. And I do prefer the B&W simply because it really puts the emphasis on the butterfly and its face. Worth of awards, accolades, and publication. |
