I agree with mpemberton on the halo effect, I am not a great fan of USM because it is so often over done. the left side of each image throws off the balance. It could be cropped off just past the whiskers even where it takes a little paw. the background effect is cool but a bit of a distraction, a sutle blur would possibly be effective. Neat set of images.

This is good, I would like to see the face though. Music as a muse requires the artists expression in a picture, because I can not hear the beautiful music they are playing.

Sharpening halo detracts, size keeps a person from being able to see the resolution and focus of the photo. If this was crystal clear with each photo staying its relative size, it would be better to stack them, due to width being greater then height. The first of the series would be better, if it were mouth closed, finishing with massive yawn. The bokeh in the background is distracting because it has a tartan like effect. Blurry section in front left hand corner also draws my attention, rather then the subject. All in all, great work on the rest.
