Flowers in the Dining Roomby mscott821Comment by alanfreed: A little too busy for my tastes. I would have liked to have seen this cropped with just the flowers and the mirror. The lamp and photo seem a bit washed out, while the item beside the mirror is left in the dark. |

Flowers in the Dining Roomby mscott821Comment by floyd: I think this would have looked better in portrait. Also seems a little over exposed. Good choice of subject though - this undoubtedly your corner of the world.6 - floyd |

Flowers in the Dining Roomby mscott821Comment by amonteforte: In my humble opinion, there are far too many subjects in front of the mirror and around it. The light from the left does not provide a desirable contrast and feel, because it is too intense and it "burned" the objects. The composition is unbalanced and too crammed. The title is not very important, but this image, as cropped, does not relate me to a dining room. All of the objects got partially cropped out: the jar, pine cones, lamp, flower vase, mirror and picture frames. |
