Tug-o-Warby coldaComment by mhoogendyk: Geez, tug-a-wars are really fun. Not too many people get involved in them anymore. Guess there were a few accidents. This image has a pretty nice composition in terms of the arrangement of the players. It could use a teeny bit more focus on the closest arm and I'd love to lose some of the competing background objects - specifically the dead tree. But, it is reflective of the action and effort involved and it is a different kind of sport than your normal football, basketball, baseball, etc. Nice shot. Good luck in the challenge. |

Tug-o-Warby coldaComment by dwolff: I wish I had thought of this! Great use of B&W (bet the color was too busy!). Like how it makes you look down the line of some very determined faces. Excellent composistion. |

overdoneby coldaComment by photom: The toaster and the taost popping up is marvelous. The lamp fights for attention and is not needed in the grand scheme of things. Tungsten lighting worked ok - I like toe resultant color tint. |

close shaveby coldaComment by bongo: Excellent shot! Love the natual pose. The straight razor makes me cringe.
This shot almost creates a feeling of expectation "is he gonna cut himself or what?"
Good compostion, focus and exposure. Well done.
