The rule of thirds intersections don't seem to contain the point of interest. Colors are a little bland.

Agreed! I wonder if this would've came out better with different angle of the sun/shadows? They draw the eye a tiny bit, but not much. Nice capture! 9

I really like the idea of this. I would work on the colors a bit - it seems overly orange to me. Probably the lighting and the time of day. Play with adjusting curves and it might solve the problem. Interesting DOF.
