Thankyou to everyone who commented on my first effort.

I had a good idea with this shot and it turned out quite well considering the camera i was using.

I accept that i could have framed it better than i did.

I was limited by my camera, its only a point and shoot thing. I used the inbuilt night shot mode in the camera and rested the camera on a wall and used the self timer as well so i was not touching the camera when it took the photo.

I had zoomed in as far as i could with the cameras inbuilt digital zoom but i realise that it was not enough to get what i wanted. I could not get closer to the subject becasue of the lake.

It could have been better and i can see how it could have been better. I just need a better camera now :)

Good idea but it seems lost in the space. Maybe zoomed in on the tree and reflection on the lake would be better? Also the photo has quite a bit of noise and lacks clear focus. With a little work in PS you might be able to salvage some of it. Keep trying and Good luck.

I really like this idea, but the picture just looks poorly taken. Maybe recompose to one side to follow the rule of thirds. Amazing visions of what this could become! You have a great eye.

this could have been sweet, but it's muddy, it feels crooked (needs rotating to left), it just isn't working well. nice concept though.

I like the idea very much, but the lighting is very poor.
I don't know what conditions you had to shoot under so maybe that's all that could be done?

Good idea, but (it seems to me that) the execution of this shot stretches the limits of the camera used. I do like the color cast though.
