I think this shot had awesome potential. The colors are great. Lighting, focus everything technical is good. Nice composition. But, IMO seeing a dirty plate after dinner, especially the ketchup smudges, it looks very unappealing. If you had shown the pre-dinner shot with the tators on the plate ready to be eaten, you may have had a top contender.
