Guitar strings are not parallel but this does not mean that you failed to demonstrate the vp concept. It is here !

The strings and vanishing point works great. I keep going back and forth whether the note is a distraction or a nice feature, leaning more towards distraction. The nice soft light on the instrument would be better without the note. Great exposure on the instrument and the choice of the black background perfect.
