this is ok, and yes, Superman is/was a figure of authority, but all the same, i think the image would have been stronger without the toy and with a shorter shadow.

well shot how ever i don't see a "great example of authority" in this image,it could have been good for heros though.

i do like the grayscale and the abstract idea so recived vote does not move i just thought i would let u know my candid thoughts on the shot.

Awesome lighting! I think this is a rather small sized entry and would be more visually impacting if you made full use of 640 pixels. Still, a strong entry.

The crop is either too tight on the figurine, or it should not be in the picture. With the background shadow so hazy, the in-focus toy has almost all of my attention. Perhaps the toy is a bit over-exposed, and the shadow too fuzzy.

I keep coming back to this image. When I orginially viewed it, my first reaction was that it is too noisy, and the face is too light. After two or three times, I'm beginning to like the image. I still think the face is a little bright, but it could be a bright scene in the movie. You've captured and old time photo look in this theatre. The compostion is really good. I orginally gave this a 5, I'm bumping to 8

I really love the mood of this shot. From the darkness to the light shafts to the position of her hand. I just wish she wasnt so blurry and grainy.
