Horse Senseby fotodudeComment by Tlemetry: Excellent! The head is on the 1/3rd vertical plane. The eyes intersect the horizontal plane. The fence leads you to the eyes. Perfect lighting and dof. AND not a horsefly in sight! I so want to pet that soft nose! |

Water Featureby fotodudeComment by fotodude: Forget i ever asked dude....

A good feature of the photo was the backlighting of the fish bowl. I would have given it a 5 or 6 if I didn't sense some color fringing issues around the fish. These may be minor and not noticeable to most but in a shot that doesn't grab my attention I probably nit-pick on small technical stuff. Goes back to personal interest.
I was in the minority but maybe my comments will give you a look at the minority view :-) |

Corridorby fotodudeComment by cryingdragon: Greets from the Critique Club
I'm going to have to agree that the overexposed white walls are pretty distracting. I feel this would have been a better entry if it was darker and more eerie or downtrodden in feel to give it more of the emptiness.
Also, I see the alley being the subject in this, but maybe that's just me.
On the good side:
Great contrast and depth. I almost feel as if I am walking into this alleyway.

Horse Senseby fotodudeComment by freakin_hilarious: That horse has character. He certainly looks like he is deep in thought. Nice use of the rule to draw the eye down his long face to the most interesting (to me) part of the picture, his nose! |
