You have the right idea about bokeh but I think your dof is too shallow. Because of the pacifier we know that it is a baby in the bg, but if you look at the baby only its a bit hard to make out what it is.

Different. Nice focus on the subject. Good bokeh background connected to the subject. Good composition. Something about this doesn't work for me, but it is not technical. I think it is the fact that the background is a baby with no face. I don't really know how else to explain. Good effort, and I could see this being in demand as a stockphoto to be used in parenting magaziines. Just not something I would hang on my wall. 8.
