Hold on for Dear Lifeby secondglantzComment by espy2: I don't usually like comments or give them, but since candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to comment on every photo in this challenge.
Children are way too easy to get candids of. I would have liked to see a photo more out of the comfort zones of many in this challenge, but there are a lot of children and animals. The eyes of this little girl are pretty, but its a bit out of focus as well. Also, the contrast is a bit off and just too much clashing color. A b/w conversion would have faired better for me. A 4 vote. |

" Hangin' Out" is a great shot. I really love this perspective. The subject is amazing and the girl just demands attention. The soft glow and focus is excellent for these children.
I would have really liked to see this shot with a little more contrast, and I really think it would have bumped the score up. Color especially with children always seems to give it just a little more.
This was a great piece because it was different and not the run of the mill entry. The overall composition of this shot is excellent, I don't think you could have possibly cropped it any better. Good work. |

Hangin' Outby secondglantzComment by Prime_Time: it is a bit flat looking, you my try a little contrast and when you do this may have to take down the color saturation some...this might clear it up some. A playful shot. |

Hangin' Outby secondglantzComment by kiwiness: This is black and white with some grain would be awesome!!! But on DPC it wouldn't have done so well like that..... I would still like to see it that way though. |
