Very nice image. I like your use of shadows to creat a somber expression. Dark background shows off the subject very well. This is among my top picks. That being said I am troubled by the border. To me it is an awkward thickness. It reminds me of a National Geographic border but it would need to be thicker to complete the metaphore. Or it ought to be thinner so as not to over power the photo. The border helps, but it could have helped more.
