This is the perfect example of how to make a pencil visually appealing. I could hang this on my wall. Great shot. Lighting is perfect, angle is great. I like how there is a bit of background behind the pencil to have him stand out, yet still blend in perfectly with the roses. The color match is phenominal. Excelent shot 1 of only 6 10's this week. Good luck in the challenge.

Great idea, just seems to need to be a little sharper. Now I'm a real amateur at this, so don't take it to heart... I could be wrong... wouldn't be the first time.

I am going through the pics for the first time and this caught my eye. I really like the humor, color, layout and `flavor` of this shot. The focus could be better, but all in all, cute!

this is a very nice photo... the texture in the center of the sunflower works very well... I think a fill flash would possibly accent that texture quite a bit as well :) = 7 - jmsetzler

The flower looks dull. I tried adjusting the levels in Photoshop and found that brightening the image this way gives the petals a translucent look, you can see the light coming through them. I don't think it matters that the background becomes very bright as well. As it stands it's a good pic but a bit dull and flat which can be fixed easily
