Cutie-piby kevinswopeComment by dsidwell: I'm sure you're receiving comments to the extent that this image does not fit the challenge, and I have to say, it's probably true. I'm pretty liberal when it comes to interpreting challenges, but I'd still like to see some kind of connection to the real pi somehow. Maybe she could be looking through a circular object, for example, or holding a hoop, or focus on her lovely eyes: something.
As for the photo itself, I think you've captured her personality well. I love the composition, and B/W works very well for this image. Crystal clear focus where it needst to be, and i also like the tones a lot. |

Colorful Pairby kevinswopeComment by GreggeN: Only the second shot I've seen this week with colours this bright and clear. Excellent contrast of colours - something i've been looking for in my markings this week. 8, mostly on the strength of the colours alone. |

Busy beeby kevinswopeComment by Swashbuckler: Josh, I think "photos of opportunity" should be given a little extra credit. It's not as if you could tell the bee to go back and pose again, right? It's nearly perfect, a wonderful picture to be proud of! |

Future modelby kevinswopeComment by Anachronite: jagged lines, but lines nonetheless.. and they lead right where they should, to the subject.. good effort, nice lighting and color |

Future modelby kevinswopeComment by Azrifel: Nice how the rock-wall leads to the girl. Good composition. The red shirt and blue pants makes her stand out from the dark branches. The tip of the shoes are a nice touch.
One possible improvement is a dramatically wider aperture to make the branches in the background a complete blur, providing even better contrast for the subject and keeping all attention on her. It would also blur the wall in the foreground, but that is not a problem. |
