I really like the textures in this shot. the subject itself is very interesting. colors are nice, composition is nice. the only thing I would try to improve is the lighting. I know you don't have much control over that outdoors, but you could try to set up some lights, or perhaps wait for the sun to change position? anyways, great photo.

I think I would have liked this more if it had been cropped a lot closer, maybe a section with about 6 ot 8 of those green leaves on would have been enough.

Almost anime-like, thie negative aspect of this photo definitely adds a dimension that would otherwise be unseen. It's almost as if you've gone into that state of shock where you're seeing things in the "opposite" way than they were meant to be.
