Tamia striatus (chipmunk)by spaque99Comment by moodville: I like the lighting. You've got a few hotspots in the background but it's not too contrasty, and it's nice and even on the chipmunk. The natural environment is well established with the amount of background you have. The composition is good with the tree, tail, body, and other tree leading the eye nicely around the image. You've got good coloring on the chipmunk and there is good texure on the fur. The catchlight in the eye is good too. Cute little guy! |

Miniature electronicsby spaque99Comment by Falc: OK better than some of the boards, but hey theres little or nothing to see here. How about a little coloured lighting, blow some smoke over it, freeze it .... just do something to make it 'not another board' shot.
Sorry to be so brutal, but maybe I can insopire you to take that next step. |

Blue tearby spaque99Comment by brunas: nice photograph. the cup itself seems to be a bit off balance but the water and the water drop in the cup are well captured. nice stopped motion. |

Blue tearby spaque99Comment by Fotowereld: ooh I like this one! Very nice soft shadows turning to harder ones, the cup is slightly off centre, but now the drip is on 1/3rd of the photo: perfect! The colours are beautiful and I like the sphere you give with it through the title, it fits the scene well. Only thing that bothers me a bit is the handle (don't know the right English word for it, in Holland we call it the 'ear') seems a bit brushed on the right edge in photoshop (or something alike)..it's not a crime though, but the hard edge seems a bit out of place.. even though I'll give it a 10, also because you managed to give such an original twirl to a cliche thing..well done!!! |
