Feathery....by dphillipsComment by AzCKelly: Nice picture. Like the blur of the background but the color of the background blends into the foreground and makes it distracting from the subject. Cropping would be the only thing I could suggest to minimize that. I do like the detail with the seeds, very strong there. |

What's Wrong With Me!?by dphillipsComment by 1olddawg: Great capture of the dogs sad expression. Unfortunately it is too bland, poor choice of location, needs to be sharper and more contrast. Great idea and good capture though. |

Dusting of Pollen (yellow and red)by dphillipsComment by persimon: Beautiful macro, but the complementary colors are too subtle. Green/Red. I do see a tiny bit of green towards the petals join in the center of the flower, and I do see the red. It just doesn't complement enough to draw interest away from the yellow. |
