Yep, baby ducks are always cute. It looks to me like you bumped up the yellow saturation too much and the water has a weird look to it. And the mom duck is lacking in detail.

Floral is always tough to do. Though the composition is good and overall a nice photo. Surprised with the score, I thought this would have been higher.

I'm surprised at the score on this. I'm guessing the subject was too small and it wasn't especially sharp. DPC loves sharp. I wonder how it'd look cropped down so the heart fills more of the frame?

Hey their score double! I can't believe that our bleeding heart scores are almost exactly the same! I love how you got the color to pop here. Mine was real soft and that was one of my comments. next time I will make it pop (and probably won't use flowers, they don't seem to like them at all :-)

You know, in retrospect maybe this could have been flipped horizontally for better left to right sight lines. Sorry I forgot about that. I do think it's a lovely picture and that you mostly got clobbered by floweritis. Note though, that you got a fair number of 6-7-8 scores, so some people appreciated it properly!

I was thinking of things to say about this picture, and started picking up after myself (wife is on vacation in Idaho), and I was headed to the trash with the first load of beer cans. I looked back from the kitchen , Your picture stood out so well it was incredible, This photo demands to be noticed, well done.
