5 - My Favorite Daughterby BudComment by jasonlprice: Wonderful capture! I'm a nut for foreground out of focus areas so I really like it in your shot. I get a lot of comments that they are distracting, but it suites my taste well.
I love the natural lighting, but I would like to see a little more light on her face. You mentioned a little dodge and burn, I would go a little more with the dodging on her face and eyes. I would also burn the other parts so that you have a nice tonal seperation from her face and other parts of the composition.

5 - My Favorite Daughterby BudComment by Melethia: She's a beautiful young lady - you've got a great model on your hands! I like the way the light plays on her hair and her hoodie. |

4 - Wheeling Suspension Bridgeby BudComment by trevytrev: I like the perspective and composition on this shot. The feel the lack of contrast and noise in the background adds an old feel to the photo, nicely done. |

5 - My Favorite Daughterby BudComment by SandyP: You can tell she's the princess. That look of total love and devotion says it all: "I'm the favorite and I know it" :) She is beautiful. And the moodiness of the black and white processing enhances the feel wonderfully.
Have a safe trip. I hope it is for pleasure and you have time to bring back some great black and whites to show us :)

5 - My Favorite Daughterby BudComment by Ecce_Signum: Am glad you cleared the title up Bud, all sorts of things went through my mind when I saw the thumb in the main thread.
Lovely capture of innocence (yeah right, mischief more like). For me the oof foreground (arm of chair?) is a little too much, I know your showing off with the 1.4 but am sure the 400D can handle 1600ISO and maybe stop down a little?
