3 - Amazonian Theaterby BudComment by cogerox: Wonderful perspective even though, as you say, it doesn't appear to be as large as it really is. On the other hand it seems to tower over the distant architecture - one's eye is confused. Great shot. |

2- Manausby BudComment by cogerox: You caught the light just right. Great colors and contrast on the cathedral. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this country during your trip. |

4 - Wheeling Suspension Bridgeby BudComment by SaraR: You have successfully shown what a dreak day it was, without making the photo flat and dull. Someone comments that the photo evokes a feeling of despair, and that is something that I take away from this as well. An interesting photo. |

2- Manausby BudComment by wickee_one: Wow! The colors are so rich and beautiful. I can't imagine what the place must look like inside. I believe I read you are on business but I hope you enjoy the scenery anyway. |

5 - My Favorite Daughterby BudComment by colorcarnival: What a sweet photo! My boys will hardly pose for me anymore so enjoy this. I would like to have seen some extra lighting on her face too in order to place more emphasis on those big eyes! A lovely family keepsake. |

5 - My Favorite Daughterby BudComment by pineapple: A child's world, the wordless world of implication. It is a very soft technique but ultimately powerful, so you remind me with this photo. Having two daughters, 6 and 13, I concur. |

5 - My Favorite Daughterby BudComment by bassbone: i am glad you added the second half of that first sentence - i was beginning to wonder about you...
nice use of shallow DOF - the focus on the eyes is very solid and you stayed in control so to make it come across as natural and real |
