I'm wondering if this was taken at a lower angle if it would make it more dramatic - especially with the deep blue water and red portions on the boats. Bumping up! |

At Anchorby BudComment by Judith Polakoff: From what I've seen of the entries in the "Best of" challenge so far (about halfway through voting on them), this would have received a 10 from me and been up in the stratosphere with only one or two other shots. Absolutely gorgeous!! |

Red Leafby BudComment by orussell: Very rich colours but I think you have too much going on in the image which in and of itself is very distracting. I think the red/purple leaves against green grass is very appealing but you need to eliminate some of the other elements in your composition. Hope this is helpful. |

Red Leafby BudComment by kearock: The background complements the leave nicely, but the out of focus foreground leaf is distracting rather than enhancing. Crop it differently to eliminate that and also to make it less square. |
