I like the idea. The blue tone has a good feel. Lighting looks pretty good. The subject has nice appeal IMO. Not sure if I'm crazy about this particular composition. I think there is some great texture here, but maybe a more even dof would bring that strength into play more. There is a loose thread in the upper right portion, that and the 2 spots in the middle of the rope showing through to the white background are just a slight distraction. I think there is great potential here and well worth exploring further. :-)

My evaluation method of this challenge is as follows:
1. Did you catch my eye while I was driving by? Yes
2. If I didn't catch the text while I was driving, did you intrigue me enough to look for this billboard again? No words needed
3. Did you sell your stuff to me? Yes
4. Extra thoughts: Coke... the cornyest idea ever. It sells itself. You don't need to work too hard.
This is not something that will be taken off your score though. Not to worry :-)
This is a nice billboard. I like the crop that reveals only part of the bottles. The soft focus make them look very cold and wet. Works wonderfully when I'm thirsty.
I think I would like this one better if you had cloned out the little dark spots of dirt from the white text on the box and crop a bit tighter on both sides. (6)

billboards are a science unto themselves. a lot of research has gone into determining just how much information a person can digest and retain in specific time spans. they use this information to develop formulas for determining the number of words and letters to use on billboards, as well as their sizes. they also determine the size and number of visual elements to include.

the graphics/photograph on a billboard are designed to get the point across in a moment. on the road, a driver will have less time with a billboard than a voter will give your image. this is a key element in the challenge: composing a shot that will get its point across quickly and succintly. along those lines, a strong composition will probably have few details and make strong use of negative space.

hard to go wrong when one of the leading marketers in the world does the work for you! perfect type of shot for the challenge. my only complaints have to do with the it looking a bit scuffed up. all the same, nice work. good luck!

This is a very pretty picture. I love the white pedals with the pink middle, it is very pretty. I also like how you showed so much water coming off of the flower, it makes it look very real.
