Fading Flowerby BudComment by Rob O: Assuming a Selective Color adjustment layer was employed to achieve this effect, given the limiting Basic Editing rules. If so, nicely done ... though I think the muted background actually detracts from it looking OOF and therefor dimishes the goal of displaying DOF. |

Generationsby BudComment by keans_d: IMO, the huge vignette on the left side towards the lady isn't that much effective as her skin is already rich chocolate brown. The child's side, on one hand, is amazing. I am not sure if that vignetting is from post processing or caused by your lens. Other than that, a good entry. Wish you luck. |

Fading Flowerby BudComment by MK153: Interesting.. but Basic editing does not allow spot de-saturation... which you have definitely done here. My vote if you didn't... 7 |

Boyby BudComment by SandyP: THIS is AWESOME! It reminds me of a GSal or Goodman photo! I love that texture on his skin and the connection you've captured in his eyes! Wow! What an amazing photo!

Iguana #3by BudComment by SandyP: I think the lighting and colors on this are so incredibly beautiful. And the texture on these interesting animals is awesome -- and you have captured it all PERFECTLY :)

Iguana #3by BudComment by jaysonmc: I like the use of the frame and lines you have created with the tree and the creatures back. These work really well. I like the lighting attempt here and it is a good dynamic. I do think the background is a bit busy, as the blue sky circles seems to take a way a bit. I think the white balance might have been just a little off. The biggest issue though it is too sharp, as the scales look un-natural as they get closer to the camera. |
