Full Throttle through Turn 3by SkipComment by Bear_Music: This works quite well for me. The tonalities and angles of it are very forceful, they produce a strong sense of motion and direction. I wish the car were a hair further out from the right edge, but that's a nit. It may be that some people will vote this low for having no truly sharp zone, but the overall blur works for me. |

Full Throttle through Turn 3by SkipComment by ClickNSee: Nice example of seperating the main object from the rest of the image. This is missing in most of the images in this challenge, and makes it difficult to determine the actual subject is. Very nicely done <7>

Reflecting on New Beginningsby SkipComment by Jinjit: I would have never guessed this one was yours!
It's a beautiful image.
At first glance I thought the baby needed some more focus, but after another look I think the focus is great as it is.
The baby has completely different colors then the mother, completely different light and completely different meaning on the entire composition.
So she should have a different focus just as well.
The only thing that does bother a bit is that little red spot on the baby's cheek, between her ear and eye.
Other then that it's a great capture. Very emotive and personal. |

Reflecting on New Beginningsby SkipComment by Mick: Wonderful shot Skip! My only problem with it is the blown highlight on her cheek. The baby being soft fits the subject IMHO. Good job! |

Breakfast Interruptedby SkipComment by Jinjit: It looks like a babrie house. But it gives a very special feeling to the photo.
I love the colors, the very harsh light, the smooth and clean feeling of the walls...
the only thing that is missing here over the b&w version is the man's facial details.
