The building acts as a frame withing the frame - seeing through it to the horizon. The pale colors do work well with the title, the bard seems to be disappearing. The details on the side are a bit distracting - the trees on the right and the rusty object inside the barn on the left. I might crop in on both sides - would make the barn seem even more frail.
