Second City by kirbicComment by flip89: My hometown! Beautiful day, perfect time of the day for a photograph like this. The lights of the streets and the car lights on the streets certainly weave a complex web. The result is stunning. There's a halo around the Sears Tower that you could probably tone down. Hope this wins (see archiral's winning photo and also my winning photo from the same location!). |

Awakeningby kirbicComment by kdkaboom: Oooh, is this in the Smokey Mountains? Very nice shot...though when I scroll up a tad and basically cut off the bottom (grass and trail) and make like the misty trees and sunsoaked sky is all that's shown in the photo...well, I like it better! So, my only suggestion would be to crop... I enjoyed, though, thanks! |

Second City by kirbicComment by marbo: Incredible view. If it was darker with more contrast and a touch more saturation it would stand out more. 8 |

Awakeningby kirbicComment by soccerdad: Nice shot. In a normal competition, this would be tops. I hope you do well in the voting, but there are some really great landscapes competing. |

Awakeningby kirbicComment by scrum8: Mystical and a little enchanting. I might have cropped off more of the foreground. |

Awakeningby kirbicComment by jonpink: I have gotten up many morning s at 5:00am to find a scen like this and have never managed to catch it. Rolling hill fog is a photographers dream and you have ca[ptured it very well. My only beefs are the format doesn't work to me (square) and if possible I would have gotten higher to look down on the fog.
Still a uniqe and well timed photo. |

Awakeningby kirbicComment by BobsterLobster: Breathtaking... I wish I was an early person so I at least had a chance of ever capturing a photo like this. Not quite sure why you went for an almost square crop... I'd have preferred the traditional dimensions. 8 |
