Autumn in the Sierra Nevadaby kirbicComment by davidbedard: This highly processed coloring wors in many pictures that are posted here. It gives them an ethereal, other-worldly quality. But IMO, it doesn't work here. Its too busy for such a simple composition and detracts from the effect of the whole. |

Choosing My Poisonby kirbicComment by Imagineer: Challenge link: quite strong.
Image critique: a very interesting composition and approach. Dynamic composition and some nice use of long exposure. It doesn't sing of indecision but at least it's pretty. The hot spots are quite distracting.
Out of challenge interest: yes, quite artistic. |
