nicely seen and composed, especially with the background colors. it's really a shame not to be able to see this larger, because it really is an incredible image. the light that you've caught is fantastic. i really hope this gets the time with the viewers that it deserves! good luck!

if thats a nature photographer call me elvis .. a nature photographer should be hanging from a rope climbing a tree covered in mud rain snow silt with warn clothing and signs of age experiecne time and activly shooting .. look she's not even looking through the viewfinder .. next time capture her in action crouched over a rock pearing from behind a bush tree from a diffrent angle preferably one not at eye level .. otherwise nice composition great exposure

Interesting shot... the colors seem to make this a busy shot, almost like it is over saturated. Using a faster shutter speed or negative (-) exposure comp might have calmed this down enough to save the hot highlights on the leaves in the upper right, the entire shot would have been darker but it is easier to bring the levels up in an editing program than darken areas with no detail. As it is I might have desaturated it a bit or brought the green channel down a little to give it a more natural feel and give a little pop to the darker areas.

The biggest problem I see with this shot is that I'm not quite sure what you want me to see. There is no evident focal point in the shot.
