black & white was a great choice - the horizon seems tilted, which is a bit bothersome, but otherwise it's a beautiful picture.

this is an interesting image, but the lighting is a bit harsh. as a result, your bokeh is a bit more of a distraction than an enhancement. one way to adjust this is to add an overlay layer, select a large brush, set to opacity 30, then set your foreground color to black. then just lightly paint in the brighter areas. the composition is nice, and the colors are rich--it's just the background that needs work, imho. good luck.

The composition is week. Perhaps you could have angled the shot or done a verticle. Bokeh looks a bit hard. Doesn't add a lot to the subject. Flower itself looks sharp.
