I wonder, perhaps, if it would look even better with some extra contrast and without the 'horizontals' of the line behind the figure and that of the road. Otherwise - a great capture, well done! |

Gettin' Dirtyby TerramarComment by dwolff: Good use of B&W, comp and lighting are good. I do think that this frame detracts a little from the picture because the white frame is brighter than the white ball or shirt worn by the player. Still an above average score. Like the expression, more of an "I'm happy to be playing" rather than an "i gotta get this" look. |

Gettin' Dirtyby TerramarComment by PaulMdx: Fantastic expression - made me laugh out loud. :-) I'm not sure I'd have gone for b&w. As you did, it's looking ok, but the image seems fairly flat to me. I'd have tried to increase contrast/levels to bump it up a bit. Excellent capture too - you caught the action nicely. |
