I really like this with the exception of the blown sky. I would try this in BW and see if you can minimize the sky problem. I love the texture of the treas and the monotone look of the grass and foilage. It has an ethereal look.

Grand depth of field in this landscape photo. I miss the Zone X whites which would have nicely offset the deep blacks in the lower left corner. Still beautiful shot.

I am very lax on "meeting the challenge", but for this one, I really feel it must contain a light color to be in the spirit of the challenge. The botton line/border is also really throwing the image for me. With all that said, it is honestly a beautiful photo. EDIT: after so much variance in the interpretation of the challenge, I am coming back through and this time judging on photogrpahic quality only, and not if it meets the challenge within reason. Bumping up.
